My favourite Visume on Prevview.com

Have you visited Prevview.com or watch any of the visumes on Prevview.com? Quite a number of people posted their resumes on Prevview.com

After viewing some of the visumes posted on http://www.prevview.com/visumewars/ , one of my favourite visumes is posted by Mr Cliff Neo.

He gives people the looks that he is confident from the way he dressed and speaks in his visumes. He can speak quite well and do put his name in the beginning of the video to intro himself and tell the viewers about himself and his strength.

Plain background is okay as it is not that distracting the viewer’s attention and give people the focus of looking at the person in the video, not at the background.

So are you interested to post your own visume on Prevview.com? Read my previous posts on Preview.com to find out more!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Visumé Wars Have Begun!

Prevview.com has declared an official Visumé War in Singapore. We call upon everyone from the age of 18-35* to step into the professional battle field, in a quest to differentiate yourselves – it’s talent vs talent, Visumé vs Visumé!

Unlike any other video showdown, this war appeals to every jobseeker’s most basic struggles. That is, to stand out from the sea of jobseekers with similar talents and credentials and, to prevent themselves from being lost under a stack of paper resumes.

Entry is simple and the prizes, amazing. Whether you are looking to get your hands on a beautiful iPad2 or a job position [or both!] with our participating partners, this is competition for you.

The power to conquer is in your hands!

All you need to do is put together a Visume – what we at Prevview call Video Resumes – that will show and tell us why you would make a great employee. You can sing, dance, rap, produce a movie or even sell a brick. Be it creative or professional, do it your way and boldly express your best self.

50 prizes to be won!**

43 participants from Category A and Category B who have received the highest People’s Choice scores will receive $10,000 worth of attractive prizes. Seven out of all the participants the Special Category will be placed in amazing job positions at the participating company of their choice [Winners are subjected to the discretion of our participating partner]. CATEGORY B

* Category A and B are comprised of shared prizes. i.e. There is only one each of the Top 3 prizes + 20 dining vouchers, and 1 pair each of GV Movie tickets for 20 to be won . Note that if the Employer’s choice concurs with the People’s choice, the winner is then entitled to 2 prizes.

Review: Watsons Lycopene Facial Mask

I bought Watsons Lycopene Facial Mask at Watsons near my house at a promotion price. As what I know, Lycopene is found in tomato and has anti-oxidant and moisturising effect. So I tried it out on my tired looking face.

When I opened up the package, there is a plastic sheet over the thing and make it easier to place the facial mask sheet on my face and I used the remaining essence to massage on my neck region. It has a great scent.

My face was slightly oily after the application. The effect still okay as it helps to moisturises my skin and maintain to prevent aging quickly.

IF you wish to have a mask which has anti-oxidant and moisturing properties, you can consider to try out Watsons Lycopene Facial Mask.

National Family Celebrations 2011 – 25 June 2011

Thank you National Family Celebration 2011, and NTUC for the tickets to Singapore Flyer on 25 June 2011. I went to Singapore Flyer with my family and relatives. There was a carnival at Waterfront Promenade as people can take part in certain activities such as playing games to stand a chance to win attractive prizes as well as take photos.  I could not stay for long as I was rushing to meet up with my family and relatives but I redeem 1goodie bag from TODAY newspaper advertisement on the event itself.

I remembered I last visited Singapore Flyer was in 2009 with my friend. After 2 years, there are indeed quite a lot of changes in Singapore Flyer.

There is a new addition to Singapore, Journey of Dreams. This exhibit show how they built Singapore Flyer and many interesting information on Singapore Flyer as well while waiting for entry into Singapore Flyer.

I would say there are some many changes to Singapore Landscape for the past 4-5 years after 1 round at the Singapore Flyer. The Garden near the Marina Barrage is still under construction and only be ready in 2012. I would say once the construction of the Marina Bay Garden has completed, it will be a good time to board onto Singapore Flyer again to see the Singapore Landscape.

Do not need to worry if you are hungry and thirsty. There are more food stalls at Singapore Flyer. Ranging from Popeye, 711, to Each-a-cup as well as Hawker food at Singapore Road Trail, you do not need to worry that as they are affordable and there are so many choices to choose from.

For more information on Singapore Flyer, please visit http://www.singaporeflyer.com for more information.

To find out more about National Family Celebration, visit http://www.nfc.sg for more information.

Of course I did enjoyed my day with my family and relatives at Singapore Flyer on 25 June 2011 as well as bonding time with them. (I took some photos but due to technical issues I cannot upload onto my blog)
