Let’s have a cup of Green Tea before eating. Haha!
I always like to drink green tea when I visit Japanese Restaurant. It is good for our health and great to accompany while eating Japanese food. I do like their service on topping up the customer’s green tea supply in Kuru Kuru.
Here’s some of the dishes offered by Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant:
Tried out a few of the appetizers from Kuru Kuru. I do like Baby Octopus and Peach with Mixed Salad. Peach with Mixed Salad tasted sweet. I will recommend that people can try Peach with Mixed Salad.
Sliced Raw Food 刺身 (Sashimi):
Assorted platter with a few different types of raw fish slices (刺身sashimi).
To me, every Japanese meal, everybody should eat some raw fish slices dipped with wasabi and soy sauce. According to Kuru Kuru, their soy sauce is stirred with wasabi to have a certain degree of spiciness.
It will be good to order assorted platter with a few different types of raw fish slices.
This was my 1st time eating Yellow tail. Quite nice to eat.
Soup with assorted vegetables and mushrooms was tasty with some degree of saltiness from the ingredients.
Rice (ご飯 Gohan):
I love Japanese Curry with rice. Japanese Curry tasted sweet and I like it very much. If you love to eat Japanese Curry, I will recommend that you can try Japanese Curry with Rice with any other ingredients.
Yōshoku 洋食 (Western Style Japanese Food):
Yes, Kuru Kuru is famous for its Yōshoku 洋食. So it is a must to try at least 1 of their Yōshoku 洋食 dishes. I do love cheese and when I tasted scallops with cod roe & cheese, it was so great.
I love to eat sushi mat rolls. I did quite like crispy salmon skin sushi roll. I had never try that before. It tasted great as well as the other sushi mat rolls too.
I never tried soft shell crab handroll before. I tasted the soft shell crab handroll and it tasted great. Quite crispy and they put some mayo sauce to make the handroll tasted so great.
Prawn tempura tasted quite soft and chewy. However, the eggplant tempura was still okay.
Grilled Food (Yakimono):
I love to eat Grilled Chicken with Teriyaki sauce. Teriyaki sauce tasted sweet.
This is my 1st time eating this Capelin. It is quite small. When I 1st bited this, there were quite a lot of fish eggs inside. The bones were soft and chewable.
I love Grilled Mackerel. Quite crispy and tender. No bones. People should try this.
Popular Dishes (IppinMono):
Chawanmushi (Japanese Steamed Egg Custard) is okay.
I tried Green Tea ice cream with red bean. It tasted great and refreshing.
For desserts, it is good to try something sweet and nice.
My overall experience of dining at Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant is good. Staff are quite nice and friendly. Good service. And great dishes.
I would recommend people to try Soft Shell Crab with Wasabi Mayo handroll, crispy salmon skin mat roll sushi and soft shell crab sushi rolls, assorted platter for fish slices, prawn tempura, scallops with Cod Roe & Cheese, Grilled mackerel and Green Tea ice cream or Yuzu sorbet along with Green tea.
