Getting ready for yoga session.
I attended the Jivamukti yoga class at Pure Yoga Ngee Ann City outlet. We used peppermint aromatherapy before the start of the yoga session. This is the underdog pose.
Jivamukti yoga is different from the usual yoga that I did for the previous yoga sessions I did. What I did for normal yoga – breathing and the poses (tree, warrior 1 & 2, underdog).
Jivamukti is a physical, ethical, and spiritual practice, combining a vigorous hatha yoga, vinyasa-based physical style with adherence to five central tenets: shastra (scripture), bhakti (devotion), ahimsa (nonviolence, non-harming), nāda (music), and dhyana(meditation).
